In a small village in Moravia, close to Austrian border I have set up my own plant nursery with special interest in herbaceous plants, grasses and intriguing shrubs.
It is a living encyklopedia where I can always discover something new, exciting, educative, disappointing yet enriching, where I can learn about plant's energy, desire and ignorance, it is a place where I can discover myself.
By close examination of leaves, stems and roots, through propagation and growing, it helps me to understand the fascinating world of plants. I collect both native and non-native plants in order to test their behavior, sustainability, aesthetics, reliability, their potential for landscape planting projects.
Furthermore, I am interested in the potential of some grass and sedge species as a substitute for conventional lawns.
