This is a courtyard garden for a businessman and his employees to occasionally escape outside to enjoy their lunch break and free time. Enclosed gorge-like space by the house unfolds towards the horizon where more informal layout escapes from geometric lines of the upper part. The design with a hint of surrealism includes several places to sit, a water feature driving the visual attention to the horizon and a recycled path with a ‘lifted end‘. All hardscape is immersed into the dense, mixed planting which consist of perennials, grasses and also edible plants like strawberries, raspberries, apples, cherries... so that people poping out from the office can pick something refreshing. /Currently in construction/
